You are what you read

Don't miss: "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond.
Diamond looks at culture, history, and technology through the lens of a biologist: "A Short History of Everybody for the Last 13,000 Years". This is the best of what interdisciplinary work can be. For a taste, read his essay for the Edge web salon.

The Dreyden Press  (now part of Harcourt College Publishers which is now part of SouthWestern which is now part of Cengage) published the second edition of my book "Classroom Activities, Demonstrations, and Games for Principles of Economics" to accompany Mankiw's textbook.  In later editions, my material was incorporated into the Instructor’s Manual.
