Optional Economics Presentation
Prepare a short presentation (2 minutes) on an economic topic of your choice. Your talk should be original and informative.
Presentations will be made to a group of your classmates, so you will not need to explain basic economic concepts. Keep your audience in mind as you prepare your talk. You may use notes or visual aides, if you like. Do practice your presentation.
Please give Professor Stull an outline of your talk, with your name on it, at the start of your presentation.
Presentations will be done outside of class. Rooms and times will be announced soon.
Choosing a topic:
Two minutes is a very short time to speak. Your topic should be very specific. This presentation will be easier if you choose a subject that interests you and then relate it to economics. Work, hobbies, current events, travel experience, and popular culture can all provide interesting material. Choose one aspect, explain how it relates to economics, and you have a presentation.
