The
Chinese-American War
The year is 2019. China has become an economic and miliary superpower
equal in strength to the United States. Based on the failure of trade
negotiations between the two, a cold war has started, similar to that between
the U.S. and the Soviet Union during the last century.
China,
seeking resources to fuel its economy, has decided to invade Kazakstan.
The United States intervenes on the part of Kazakstan and tells China to
remove their troops on threat of retaliation. Ally nations on both
sides of the conflict intervene and set up a series of peace talks which
ultimately fail in their intent. The President of the U.S., facing
plummeting approval ratings and an upcoming election, knows that a war
will boost his popularity enough to get him re-elected, so he does not
want to back down. He threatens China with nuclear warheads.
China calls his bluff and moves more troops into position.
So
now what??????
